some things i've realised recently

no matter how much you think about what you want to do in life and what the best way is to get there, you'll probably never feel 100% confident about your decision.
you can research as much as you want, read other people's experiences, take all the personality tests you want, and it's probably not going to feel much clearer. the only way to figure it out is to try.
it's okay if you don't get it right the first time, second time, hundredth time, because you're still going to be learning at least what you *don't* like along the way. at least you're learning. everything you try is just an experiment that gives you progress in the right direction.
you are multi-faceted and ever changing. don't feel confined by who you feel like you are right now.
don't limit the chances you take, the opportunities you try, the things you do and say by what you have or haven't done in the past. if you find yourself thinking 'that's something someone else would do, not me', think about why that is. is it something genuinely not helpful or possible for you, or is it something you feel like you're 'not good enough' for? don't hold yourself back before you've tried something.
i guess i thought i would have a bit more to say here but it was a bit of an impulsive little blog entry lol.
i've been thinking a *lot* about what i want my life to look like and how i might get there. i dont have it figured out, but that's okay.
i'm sure i'll have more insightful things to say sometime, but yk, it's just been a while since i've posted here and i felt like throwing something out there :>
as always, thank you for reading <3
